12.1. Foot adjustment

All SLITTINO have height-adjustable front feet, which allows the system to be more/less rigid, affecting ski performance.

Slittino

To increase the rigidity of the system unscrew the foot so that it presses harder on the ski.

Slittino

To decrease the rigidity of the system, unscrew the foot so that it presses less on the ski.

Important Take care to adjust both feet (left and right) to the same height.
Important Make sure that the feet, even in the less rigid position, rest on the ski.
Important Once the height of the feet has been set, remember to tighten the locknut to secure the position.

12.2. Changing the centre of gravity

For SLITTINO 3 and SLITTINO 4, if necessary, it is possible to re-position the seat further forwards/backwards on the frame than in its original position.

Slittino

  • remove the screws that secure the seat to the frame,

  • select the new position of the seat on the frame,

  • drill the seat using the existing holes on the frame as reference,

  • re-position and tighten the screws.

Important The seat is not pre-drilled for adjustment. In case of intervention, refer to qualified and authorised personnel.
Note To vary the position and weight balance on the skis, without moving the seat on the frame, it is necessary to vary the position of the bindings on the skis.

12.3. Slight variation of seat inclination

The front and rear height of the seat from the ground is chosen when ordering, however, if necessary, slight variations in seat inclination are possible by placing shims between the seat and frame

Slittino

The distance from the seat to the footrest is chosen when ordering, however, further adjustments are possible.

For SLITTINO 2 and SLITTINO 3:

The telescopic footrest support slides inside the front part of the frame and is locked in the desired position by means of the screws/screws C:

The height is variable with a step of 2 cm:

  • loosen and remove the screws/screws C that secure the footplate to the frame;

  • move the footplate to the desired position;

The backrest tension can be easily adjusted by acting on the velcro straps:

  • Raise the flap B of the backrest cover. It is normally closed at the back but can be found closed at the front if the configuration requires it

  • Adjust the tension of the straps A by increasing or decreasing the overlap of the two flaps

  • Reseat in place the backrest fabric B

12.8. Backrest height adjustment, pushing handles adjustment

The height of the backrest is chosen when ordering, but further adjustments are possible. The backrest has a telescopic section, regardless from the chosen pushing handles model.

  • Lift up the backrest upholstery and open the tensioning straps to gain access to the screws A that secure the extensions to the frame

  • Remove screws A
